Day's Done
There's something about the way children hold onto today like it might slip away, or how tomorrow feels like it holds everything. This song is for letting go of that tight grip—for finding peace in the spaces between excitement and exhaustion.
A blend of alt-rock grit, deep blues soul, hot jazz energy, and the gentle release of a cool evening breeze.
About
The Story
Unfun is the project of Jamie Elder, a New Zealander making music in Melbourne, Australia. It's born from the raw energy of alternative garage rock and the deep, aching soul of the blues - think The Black Keys, Queens of the Stone Age, Tame Impala. But it's also shaped by Melbourne's own: The Murlocs, Checkpoint, Gut Health, King Gizzard.
This is music that wants you to dance, to headbang, to cry. It's playful and serious in the same breath - fun enough to make you smile, deep enough to make you feel.
At its heart, Unfun is about pushing boundaries while staying true to the craft. It's technical obsession meeting emotional honesty. It's the sound of someone who loves making music.
